So a friend has asked me to do a "naughty" cake for her friend. i happily said yes. And me being the caking addict i am, got all excited and started dreaming big. i discussed all my ideas with said friend, and she ended wanting something really basic and boring! was so disappointed.. i wont go into detail on my designs (not the right forum...lol) but i am just so cranky! i only charge for ingredients, so cost wasnt a factor... grrrrr. just needed to vent sorry....

i understand exactly where your coming from, a friend of mine is having a glitz and gaumour birthday and i had so many ideas in my head i just had to sketch them out, i had every thing colours, sparkle, sequin sprays, anyway when i showed her them she said "mmmm its a bit much i was hoping for white fondant with happy birthday written in black" no fancy bits or even piped shells, arrrgggghhhh how boring a cake is ment to be a centre piece.
