How Do You Stack A Cake?

Help! I am just starting out and need to know how to stack a smaller cake on top of a larger one. Not with pillars, but directly onto the cake underneath. usaribbon.gif

Well you will need to dowel the larger cake first to hold the weight of the smaller tier...Here are a couple of links to help you.
