I have a bride that would like to have the attached cake for her wedding. (I'm not sure who the designer is.) My question is about the wire that is cascading down the cake. Do you think this is something that can be purchased pre-made? Or is it just silver wire with the flowers glued on? Any suggestions?

i wonder if thats pulled sugar with sugar jems on it. Could be done with wire, but i don't think that was.

What a lovely cake design. To me, it looks like wire shaped to cascade down and the flowers are glued to the wire. You might be able to find jewels in the shape of the flower that have a loop (like a button) on the back.

beautiful cake! I'm kinda thinking pulled sugar. If you end up using wire make sure you read the posts on here about using wire on cake. There was a recent post that talked about not inserting the wire right into the cake.

They are from Bakery Crafts and they are definitely wired rhinestones. BakeryCrafts has a whole line of jeweled topped and cake jewelry and it's beauttiful

Thanks everyone! I thought it was wire with the flowers attached....but then started to think maybe not. I will take a look at Bakery Crafts.
