I have made my first ever fondant figures, compleatly by hand. a bride and groom for the top of a wedding cake. but the groom has got a massive crack across the side of his trousers! it was not there last night. i have tried putting edible glue in the crack to seal it but its not done much good. i dont want to have to start again as it took hours and was quite difficult. can anyone help with a solution on how to patch it up? please!! icon_cry.gif

You could try taking royal icing the same color as the pants and try to fill and smooth it out but make sure it is the same color. If the crack is too big you might have to scrap the trousers and start over but try the royal icing. Very frustrating when that happens and I hope you can fix it. Good luck!
