I'm sure the instructions are in here somewhere. I think I may have seen it here, haven't found it yet. Anybody know the way to do it? Something about put the can in a pot of water and boil? Opened? How long? Is the oven better?

I boil unopened cans for 2 hours. Then after it cool I open it and whip with butter. It is delish.
When I did this I boiled it for atleast three hours. Make sure you keep an eye on it and add more water to the pot when it needs it. You want to keep the can completely submerged. I'd then let it sit over night before opening. You want it completley cool before you even attempt to open.
I now don't bother with it, I just by the Nestle's Dulce de Leche at my local Walmart in the spanish foods aisle.
