Hello
I need to make cookies for my son. The recipe I have calls for 5 tbsp of butter, he's allergic to butter so I was going to use Crisco. How would I do that? Would it just be 5 tbsp's of Crisco? Thanks.

Yes, substitute exactly the same amounts. I use Crisco instead of butter in most of my cookie recipes. The cookies don't spread out thin and stay thicker.
