I was just wondering if any of you charge extra to cover a wedding cake (or other) completely in black fondant? If so, how much are you charging extra?
If the entire cake is covered....yes.........it is a bit more pricey than the white fondant....same as with red...... I mix most of my own colors but black and red are the hardest to get a true color.....
Yes, entire cake ( 3 tiers) will be covered in black fondant.
Can you please tell me how you are figuring the additional cost? I know ingredient-wise how much I'm spending for black fondant...is that all you add to the total?
