Ok good people, I really need help now.
It's my mum's 70th birthday soon and I'm supposed to make her a 3-tiered cake ( not stacked ),with the colours white(or ivory), burgundy and gold.
I know the gallery has ideas but I've been through a few and haven't seen 'it' and beginning to get tired of looking...
please help!!!!!!!!!!

What about doing the icing in ivory and using burgundy flowers between the tiers? Is she a flower person? You could accent with gold scrolls on the ivory. It will be a nice color combo, so I'm sure whatever you do will look beautiful! It is harder sometimes, I think, to come up with something simpler than something more complex!
Good luck! icon_wink.gif

I would say do the icing in ivory then do some burgundy flowers or butterflies then maybe tip them with some gold or use gold disco dust on them. You could do a nice gold design on the sides/top of the cakes then do a burgundy ribbon. Just throwing out some ideas......
