After I make the baby... I already dusted it with petal dust... I now just use as normal

I just did the same thing!! made a baby for my sister in law's baby shower tomorrow
I didn't put anything over it and it seems to be fine. I've handled it a few times, and nothing came off that I noticed...

usually people steam any dusted gumpaste item, gives it a nice finish too.
