Hi Guys i am just about to start a 3 tier cake for a friends 18th birthday. She wants hot pink/fusia pink colour with black. Can anyone tell me how to get that hot deep pink colour?

Hi! To get a hot pink i'v read that most people use Wilton's Rose colour. You can also use americolour electric pink but i heard people say it tends to fade quickly.

I just used americolour electric pink for this cake http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1577755 and I didn't have any problems with it fading. I tried the Wilton Rose before, and was just adding and adding and still not getting the colour I wanted. Was happy with the Americolour...
