I am having a lot of trouble getting a dark purple/eggplant color. I started with americolor regal purple, but it seems that the more I added it started to turn blue. Dont know what to do...please help!! The color I am trying to get is the darker purple in the picture.

If I have petal dust that is similar to the color that I need...how can I use that on my fondant?? Do I mix it with vodka and then brush it on...or do I simply add it dry to my fondant?

Try adding Red to it..

Bcake1960...thanks so much I added red and IT WORKED!! The color is almost identical Would you know how I would get the other color that is on the flower..its like a pink kind of a mauve color?
