I was wondering if anybody knew of any other decorating classes in New Jersey besides the Wilton classes.

Go to and join the NJ Cake Decorators Club. They have a lot of good workshops.

second jmr531's suggestion. Join NJ Cake decorator's club, dues are only $10 a year and they have some great classes. I have taken a lot and I can honestly say, not one bad class.

I also agree - as a member of NJ Cake Decorator's club - the meetups I have been able to attend have been great (wish I could attend more!). Also, not sure what part of Jersey you are in, but their is the Viking Cooking School that does classes in Fairfield (have not been to one for baking yet - but have seen them listed in their catalog). Believe they have other locations, so check out their website. The few classes I have taken were at Chef's Central - not sure if they still offer adult classes for baking (have only seen some teen classes offered recently) but check out their website as well.
Good Luck!
