Hello,

Does anyone have a "fool proof", moist, great tasting red velvet cake? My sister has requested one for her birthday and I want it to be good! LOL! I only made red velvet once before and it was underwhelming and dry. Just really nothing to rave about. I was beginning to think people went batty over red velvet to be trendy or something. I have also tried Duncan Hines Red Velvet which to me had an odd flavor. Is there such a thing as a really yummy and moist Red Velvet cake or is it a case of all hype and no substance??

Thanks for any tips, advice and recipes!

I always use McCormick's Red Velvet recipe. You can find it on their wedsite.
