I got my first request for a cake decorated with chocolate icing. It is a cherry chocolate cake. What icing recipe would you recommend? I usually use Indydebi's BC but have never altered it for chocolate. Thanks for your help!

Since you like Indydebi's bc (me too!), she said in a post last week that she uses the chocolate icing recipe from the side of the Hershey's box. She said that it crusts just as nicely as her bc does.

I add chocolate to my regular buttercream recipe. You can use cocoa powder or melted chocolate. I don't have a certain measurement since I go by look and taste. The only change I have to make to the recipe is to add a little more liquid since it makes it a drier.
