U.k Laws For Home Bakers?

I have seen a few threads about laws in the U.S for home bakers selling cakes, but not for the U.K what are the rules here? iv never sold a cake yet, but want to know the rules incase i get a request. the U.S laws seem so complicated! is it the same for england? thanks in advance for any help. x

i am also from the uk, i unfortunatly cannot sell my cakes whilst i am living in my currant property, as i am renting and the landlord wont alow it, luckily i enjoy cakes as a hobby, and my friends and families love the freebies. untill i get moved that is lol
