I have some Dark Chocolate Rolled Cookie dough in the refrigerator, and I'm wondering how long it remains safe to use? I forgot to freeze it, and it's been in the fridge about 2 weeks. Should I throw it out, or is it safe to use?

Thank you!

I usually won't use it after 3 days.

I recently had some NFSC dough that I forgot to freeze (sound familiar??!) and when I took it out after 2 weeks, it was way too crumbly to use and had an "off" smell. The "experts" I consulted here on CC suggested I toss it and make a fresh batch, so that's what I did.
