you leave a really detailed response to someone in a thread and they never post back, so you don't know if they read your answer or not and whether or not it was helpful?

lol...............you just gotta shrug it off and hope that someday it will help someone else that stumbles on it!

Frustrating; but I've found newbies often don't realize they need to click that 'Watch this topic for replies' button when they start a topic, to get notified of replies.
Sometimes it takes them a while to find it again.
