3 Tier Wedding Cake With Styrofoam Middle Tier

Okay, this is my first wedding cake and the customer wants a 6 8 and 10 inch square. However they want the 8 inch tier to be Styrofoam, what would be the best way to secure this cake.
Now i know that i have to dowel the 10 inch tier but what security do i use for the 6 inch so that it doesnt move

Put dowels in the 10" to support the 8".

The 6" will sit on top of the 8" just fine. I just use BC as glue to hold the 6" in place. THe styrofoam will support it. No dowels required.

If you're nervous about traveling with it totaly assembled, just sit the 6" on top fo the 8" once you get to the venue.
