Fondant Or Sugarveil For Cricut Cake Machine?

O. K. I am seriously considering spending the big bucks for the new Cricut cake cutter machine. Have done a lot of research (there are a lot of videos on Youtube) and want to know from those that have a Cricut machine, the pros & cons,any tips as to the settings used & also if it is better to use sugarveil or fondant when cutting out designs. Did a search & there are some cakes done with Cricut, but not much info in the articles section here on CC. Looking forward to learning from everyone.

Thanks for the feedback. I know that as soon as a product has the word "cake" attached to it, the price increases, when often a similar,cheaper product will give the same results. Anyone else have comments?
