How would I go about making handcuffs? Would it be easier to do FBCT or fondant? Where could I find a template for it?

Search for pictures on google, print them out and use them as a visual aid. I would make them out of gumpaste or at least 50/50 gumpaste/fondant

I would make them from 100% gum paste so when they dry hard they won't break on you. they won't be edible, but you won't get frustrated to the core. I made a DJ head set from 50/50 and gust as I was going to put it next to the cake... crack!

I have this mold http://www.intotheoven.com/p502/3D-Handcuffs-Chocolate-Mold/product_info.html and I haven't used it yet, but it's the same size as the cuffs my husband carries for work, and the details look right. That would be an easy way to do it.
