Now that I have a bakery, I'm hoping to find a better price for FondX than what I've been paying for 10 lb pails at FondantSource. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks. icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the link, but that is a Canadian source and I'm in Texas...and FondantSource's prices are much better.

Well, so much for them having "wholesale" prices, then. icon_sad.gif

Yep, I get all of my fondant from CK. The best prices I have found.

CK's product list is so vast (and hard to navigate without a paper catalog) that I haven't had time to explore it until now, but that's definitely the best wholesale price I've found. CK's 2010 print catalog is due out this week which will make browsing their products much easier. Thanks for the heads up!

hi cakepro. i think there is a supplier in town. all in one cake shop?? are they not competitive on prices? not sure...but you might want to check. you wouldn't have to pay shipping. just a thought! icon_smile.gif

You did find the search feature on the CK site? I rarely if ever use the paper catalog.

FondX is a Caljava product. I don't know how their price compares but you can get it direct from them. If you use a very large amount on a regular basis, you could maybe call Caljava's owner, Daniel Budiman, and work a deal. He is is a nice guy.

The website is http://www.caljavaonline.com

Global Sugar has the same fondant for $8 cheaper than CK. CK's is $34.90 and Global Sugar's is $26.99. They are both 10 lbs.

If you have a wholesale account with CK it is cheaper than GSA.

Contact Daniel Budiman at Cal Java and he will direct you to Alan Budiman--depending on which area you fall in. Alan will then send you a quantity purchase pricelist that states each bracket. There is surely a huge discount.
