If I remember some time back, someone told me that I could take a bit of my regular buttercream, heat it in the micro and it would make it more pourable and when it dried it would be darker and shinier. I have a chocolate buttercream and want to add a chocolate river and waterfall to a cake I'm doing today. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

have you thought about using piping gel for the water effect? Shines big time.
