Hi, I am making a cake for my friend this weekend and i want to color the IMBC brown, should I just use the gel color or can I add cocoa powder for a richer color?

Thank you

I guess it depends if you want it to be brown (like you initially say) or is it okay if it's chocolate-flavoured too (like cocoa would do). Is it one or the other?

I add some cocoa powder in the darkest shade I can find. (I like Barry Cocoa or Hershey's Dark brands) then add a drop or two of Americolor Black to get it to a very rich, dark chocolate shade.
