My daughter's birthday is next month and I need a good chocolate cake recipe that is easy to carve and won't crumble. If it starts with a boxed cake mix that is even better.

Thanks.

I am starting to try scratch baking ,but I have always used a box and I used the duncan hines devils food pound cake recipe on the side of the box.It is very sturdy and I have used it to carve the pillow cake in my pics.I did freeze it before I carved which helped with the crumbs.HTH
