Unfortunately not a tutorial, but it is Diane Shavkin's blog and she invented the technique. Her site is under construction and will address more about puff embroidery. She'll also be demonstrating it at a number of cake shows that I will brood over not being able to attend icon_sad.gif . But then again, I can live vicariously through my cake friends here who are lucky enough to go! Anyway HTH.
