Hello I am looking for a good Dominican cake recipe...
My new SIL is coming to the USA for the 1st time ever..we are having a celebration to welcome her and I would LOVE to surprise her with a Dominican cake..
I'm not Dominican so I have no idea what icing goes with it..
All suggestions will be Greatly appreciated!

Toba Garrett has a Dominican cake recipe in The Well Decorated Cake book. I've yet to try it, but I've heard good things about her recipes.
