I am going to be making a carrot cake with the cream cheese icing recipe from this site. Does it need to be refrigerated? I would assume so since it has cream cheese, right? Also do you think it would be ok to cover in fondant?
hi, if its cream cheese, then it should be in fridge. But never used it myself.
Cream cheese icing always requires refrigeration.
Cream cheese icing does not work well with fondant.
