Has anyone used the Duncan Hines carrot cake mix & extended it by adding sour cream,extra flour etc? What were the reesults? Would like to try it this week,but don't want to waste ingredients if it is "too heavy" or did not turn out right.
There's a recipe here on CC for extended carrot cake, it's great. Give it a try.
I've tried it and it's not a good mix to start with. Making homemade is much easier and tastes better and that is really what everyone wants!!
