Ok so i've fallen in love with smbc. I made a double batch (way more than I needed). I put the remainder in the fridge. Now how do I bring it back to life? LOL Am I SOL? Of course I could just take a spoon to the bowl but that might be a bit much
well, I'm interested to see what other people say about this...but for me, I just bring it out and let it warm up a bit, then re whip it. Everytime I've done this however, the frosting "curdles" a bit, but I keep whipping and it comes back together quite nicely.
sandioh is correct.. i don,t always rewhip it.. i just whip it with my spatula.and it still does wonderful.hth
I do what Sandioh does. You can also freeze it if you need to keep it longer.
Let the icing sit until it is room temp (soft again), then rewhip.
