I saw some of these at GSA and they all look fine, but what gauge should I use? I am new to flowers, so I am not reallly sure.

For right now, I'd like to make some roses out of gumpaste.

Thanks!

For roses I usually use 18 gauge.

You don't have to order wires and tape from someplace special, the ones at Walmart or the craft store in the floral arranging section work just fine. Make sure you get a pair of wire cutters so that you're not tempted to wreck your kitchen scissors cutting wire icon_biggrin.gif

I will check it out when I go to Walmart (or a like store) next time. I just needed an idea of gauge size.

Thanks again!
