I am getting a little confused as to how to store my cupcakes so they stay fresh for longer and don't go off.
I usually keep cupcakes with just buttercream covered out on the bench so they do not dry out but what about cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and cream fillings etc. How do you store them so they don't dry out and also don't go off? TIA

if its an icing that needs refridgerated, like the ones you mention, then the cupcakes need refridgerated. id have them in a box inthe fridge.

Thank you Brincess. Just needed to clear this one up. I do put them in but then you read never put cupcakes in the fridge. So you can understand my confusion.

the problem is that if they are not wrapped/ boxed properly, and there is exposed sponge, they will dry out pretty fast. as long as they are sealed they should be fine, but i think life is much easier to just skip things that need refridgeration!
