I'm still a beginner and I'm searching for insipration that I can/will get better!!!

Wow! Talk about some inspiration here. It's amazing how much one learns. I think one of the most frustrating things for me as a 'newbie' in decorating was the time it took to do one cake. Now it is so much less time and much better final product.

Awesome inspiration! It's great to know that I do have a hope in hell of improving! I have noticed improvement w/ each cake but sometimes I think I will NEVER be on the same level as some of the others I see on here (present company included). Thank you for giving me a "thread" of hope. (Pun intended)

These are all fantastic! Wow, you have all come so far! This is just the inspiration I needed to get off my butt and start practicing again!!

I lost pics of my earliest cakes becaus I didn't have a digital camera and the pictures didn't come out ( I'm a TERRIBLE photographer!) but I recently compared gumpaste roses I made this past June to one of the first ones I had made and saved from my Wilton class, probably February, 2008 or so...

My very first cake for my son's 1st birthday. You can find it in the 'Cake Disaster' gallery. It's a Picasso-ish interpretation of Pooh Bear!
