My 17 year old grandson, takes "food" in high school. He is entered in a contest where he can bake the cookie at home, but has only an hour to decorate it at school. It is a nine inch wedding cake shape cookie. He needs icing that is quick drying. Any ideas? I was thinking about a rolled buttercream, and then decorate it with dagrees, small flowers, etc.????????
Thanks for any help.

I would cover it in melted white chocolate (quick drying) or cut it out of fondant.

If he uses fondant he can get really creative with impressions being made into the fondant as part of the decorations and then add little cut out fondant flowers, etc.

Thank you for the suggestions. I like the white chocolate idea. If he doesn't have access to a microwave, than fondant it is.
