I'm not aware of a specific cookie being used for favors. Could you provide more information?

bregram - do you mean shaped cut-out cookies that sometimes are given as favors at parties or weddings?

I use the recipe from Pam's Cookie Crazie blog...

She uses the Soft Sugar Cookie V:

The are a few changes to it that she suggests and that I use for my cookies. Add 1/2 c. flour, take out the nutmeg, roll out to 3/8 of an inch, reduce the heat to 325 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes.

The cookies taste wonderful and they are very soft and cake-like. I even rolled them out to 1/2 inch once and they reminded me of the Lofthouse cookies at the store. However, the 3/8 in. I was able to get more out of and they seemed a little sturdier.
