Cakes in the oven before I found my salt behind my mixer....recipe only called for 1/4 tsp...should I start over?

I stopped putting salt in any of my desserts recipes over 30 years ago. My first husband had high blood pressure and we were cutting salt EVERYWHERE. Never missed it in any of the recipes. So cakes, cookies, brownies, whatever ... if it's in the dessert column, I omit the salt in any and all recipes.
I never add the salt.
I usually leave it out altogether as well, for the same reason as Debi.
Never had a problem!
