What kind of BC does buddy from cakeboss use? when I see him and a few other chefs ice a cake their bc looks so smooth. when they ice it they make the bc look as if it is real simple to frost. do they use a special kind of buttercream?
I don't know, but I'd love to have the recipe. Mine has gotten better, but it's nothing like his. Another thing, he seems to use the same consistency icing for everything !!
I think that he uses a meringue based buttercream. I use IMBC and it is extremely easy to use!
It's Italian Meringue Buttercream, and there are lots of recipes for it here on CC.
