Hi

My friend, who is a doula is celebrating her 30th birthday. I would like to make a cake for her but dont know what to do about this theme. It has to be "clean" so no anatomically correct cakes. otherwise Im up for suggestions icon_smile.gif

The first thing that popped to mind was a pregnant belly cake (I personally think they're grotesque, but to each his own......)

How about just something really pretty or elegant or sophisticated, to reflect the kind of person she is. Not everyone wants to be reminded of work on their birthday. JMHO

I was thinking maybe a 'labour kit' type thing... Sort of like a cross between a nappy bag cake and a doctors bag... icon_confused.gif
You could do gp tools of the trade - I thought some stuff off a 'labour checklist' like this?

Massage oil, music; thant kind of thing... I've never used a doula though so they may not use any of these things!!! icon_lol.gif
