just learned yesterday that i am going to be doing my grandpa's 90th birthday cake . the party is next month. does anyone have any idea what i can do that doesn't have flowers?

You can have a picture of your grandpa at an early age printed with an edible printer and put on the cake....look in my pics, I have one I did for a lady friend...."90 never looked so good" you don't have to put flowers maybe just finish the edges like a photo frame.....check thru CC search...I'm sure you will fine some great ideas.....have fun...and post your fiinished cake.....HB to grandpa.....

Build on his intrests, former occupation--maybe a family tree?? Goodness he has a long life of experiences you could find something that would be perfect!

I did a cake for a man's 90th birthday without flowers. I did make 90 fondant candles that surrounded the tiers.. Here it is...
