I'd go with chocolate as a filling!

I forget when you read certain things they don't come across right.

I prefer to not use chocolate as i think it's OK, my hubby does not chocolate and one of my kids doesn't like chocolate either.

So, based on that, just Dulce De Leche? need filling and icing ideas, please otherwise i gotta chose a different cake and I wan bake these by tomorrow morning.

Not sure if it's too late, but my Whimsical Bakehouse book recommends Vanilla custard filling with their banana cake, I plan to try that soon (with choc. ganache icing, but that doesn't help you).
