I'm scaling up to a an actual shop, so I'm trying to change my recipes because I can't figure out how to get mixes in bulk!

I have modified the standard sour cream conversion of a boxed mix to be perfect, BUT I can't get it in bulk (unless someone can tell me how?) so anyone have a scratch version that matches up with flavor and moistness???

If you have access to Walmart, just talk to the manager of the baking dept. and order whatever cake mixes you use by the case. icon_smile.gif

Thanks, I looked at all those threads but I don't see anyone mentioning a recipe from scratch that works as well. I really would rather go back to scratch since I add SO much to change a box mix.

Truth be told, your post was confusing. I didn't know what you were asking for other than buying mix in bulk since your post title was "White Almond, but with the box." icon_lol.gif

The threads were about purchasing cake mix in bulk, which I thought answered at least part of your question.

oops. my fault. I guess I forgot to type the word "out" in the title. I meant White Almond with out the box! I spent all day yesterday baking and the cake were ok, but not as great as my modified WASC. Maybe I will end up going back and using those posts anyway to look for bulk suppliers. Thanks, it did answer the part of my question that I hoped to avoid icon_smile.gif
