Attaching Edible Image To Fondant....

Ive never done this before. Im afraid Im going to mess up my image and I paid $7 for it, so I could use some help.

What do you use to attach edible images to fondant? A little corn syrup perhaps? That was my best guess anyway.

Try attatching it with a real thin coat of clear gel. Thats what I use.

Is that the only method? That means I have to go out and find some. lol. There isnt a michaels within an hour of me. Do they sell the piping gel at grocery stores?

If you are no where near a Michaels..grocery store doesn't sell gel....Try a small amount of clear corn syrup diluted with a bit of water.Be careful not to get water on the image side or the colors will bleed.This should do the trick!!

Thanks guys! Ill see if I can find gel somewhere before next weekend, if not Ill try it with the corn syrup. icon_smile.gif

water works just fine, a light spritzing will do
