I just watched this video and thought it was an amazing and cheap way to make your own cookie cutters.
I have not made these yet, but couldn't wait to share. Please post pictures if you make your own cutters using this method.
And to Queen Leilani, thanks for making this tutorial.
Thanks for sharing this link! I am always looking for different cookie cutters, but now I can make my own!
Thank you! I can't wait to watch it later.
Thanks for sharing looks very simple.
I have made several cutters using the tutorial here on CC. I use Aluminum purchased at Lowes on a roll, and the same epoxy shown in the tutorial. I have not tried rolling the upper edge as the alum is quite sturdy.
thanks for sharing!
I make my own cutters and if you need it, here is a link to a message I posted in the forum a while go about where I get the foodsafe stainless steel I use:
Another idea is to do what Bakinccc does and reuse old cutters or buy a large circle or heart shaped cutter and reshape it.
Needlenose pliers and a lot of patience are the trick to the intricate shapes.
thanks, going to try this as soon as I can think of what to make!
