what does it mean when your gumpaste is crumbly?? No matter how much shortening I use I can't get it smooth. It just wants to seperate. To me that means I need new gumpaste. haha.

Thanks,
Lori

It may be too dry. And old. I'm no expert though. I use fondant more than gumpaste, and I add glycerine to help.
