Does anyone know where I can buy chocolate fondant without paying a zillion dollars in shipping? I know it's heavy, but I just can't see paying for shipping almost as much as the fondant costs.

You don't say where you are located, but local bakery suppliers often carry it.
You might be able to substitute cocoa powder for some of the powdered sugar in the MMF recipe.
