How do you apply it to the cake? Pastry brush? Spray bottle?

I use a pastry brush.

When I use syrup I use a silicone basting brush, works good and is super easy to clean (syrup can make an unholy mess!)

I use a medicinal syringe. And I don't use it on all cakes either. None for my chocolate, coconut, banana, carrot, red velvet. Ah you get what I mean. My denser cakes don't ever need it, so see if your cake even needs it before you use it. icon_smile.gif
