i need a strawberry filling recipe that doesn't have to be refridgerated. I am making a cake that i will have to deliver the night before with gumpaste flowers...i was going to make a mousse filling but i can't leave it in the fridge with the flowers on it. Any suggestions?

If you want the mousse thing you can take strawberry preserves and mix it with whipped BETTERCREME. It is excellent and does not need to be refrigerated. You can also used the sleeved filling or make you own strawberry filllng and mix with the Bettercreme.

You cannot make Rich's BETTERCREME it has to be purchased. It comes in liquid form or already whipped and you need to find a store that carries the product. It's great and tastes good also. There are tons of threads about this product. Maybe Jan H can list them as I do not know how to attach the thread.
