When people say to chill the cake before you carve it, how long do you chill it? Do they mean freezer or refrigerator?
Thanks in advance.

I am sure that everyone on here has different ways that they carve their cakes but when I do it I just chill it in the fridge for about 2-3 hours and then carve it. I never seem to have any problems. I have never frozen my cakes before carving them but I am sure that way works too. I hope my suggestion helps you. Good Luck to you. thumbs_up.gif

I put mine in the freezer for about 30 minutes and then get to work.
