Coloring Fondant Ideas ?

Hi Everyone,

I need to know if any of you had success coloring fondant on a mixer. My hand get very tired of coloring fondant specially when I have a big cake. Any other techniques, ideas ?????

You can soften it up in the microwave to make the job easier.

if you make your own, add it to the other liquids in the process.

I use SI fondant premade and it gets hard at times. I will try to put it on the microwave for a little bed.

making your own is sooo much cheaper, 1 regular bag of minature sp marshmallows, 1lb of con sugar 2 teaspoons of water, soo easy, and i love this receipt

also colour it in small chunks. i tend to break mine into chunks the size of my fist, and work the colour in til it is very well marbled. then bring together two chunks at a time, and keep going, then two of these bigger chunks til its all done.

also, i work with ropes/ sausages of fondant. seems to work faster than just kneading it in. i start with a chunky disc of fondant, colour in teh middle, fold up, and roll into the rope, fold up, roll into rope, and keep going.
