I am fairly new to cake decorating. I am planning on making a 3 tier cake and draping an american flag down the side of the cakes. I have purchaed the colored fondant. My question is to give it the fabric look I have to add gumpaste. How do I add the white gumpaste without it making the red and blue colors to light??? Please help.

Hi, the other thing that you can do is to add 1/2 a teaspoon of CMC/ Tylose powder to 250g of fondant. If you can find the same colour gumpaste as the fondant, then it would be much easier to mix. icon_smile.gif
