I saw somewhere on here whe you use box cake mix and add extra ingredients in to to make the cake more stable for tier cakes. Does anyone have a good recipe for this?
Welcome to CC! I hope you enjoy yourself - this is a great place to get help. There are tons of wonderful extender recipes on CC! Go to the recipes tab and do a search. I personally use WASC, though I use more vanilla and no almond in it. I have actually done all sorts of flavors of cake mix with it and it is great. It is a denser cake and very moist. It is easy to carve too! Good luck!
